Yes, an apartment or a house can be bought as a private person. For land a company is usually registered.
What are the transaction costs?
Roughly 3–4% of the price: local tax, notary, registration and translation.
Do I have to be present in person?
Not necessarily — the deal can be done with a power of attorney.
What is the maintenance fee?
A yearly payment to the complex for security, pool and cleaning. We always state it upfront.
Can you show a property online?
Yes, we do video viewings via Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram.
